Explorer’s Guide Maritime Academy

Appleton, WI

Explorer’s Guide Maritime Academy, a mariners school in Appleton Wisconsin, has been successfully turning boaters into Captains for the past seven years. With online captains license courses, classroom captains license courses, and blended courses, all USCG approved, you can get your captains license your way.

Explorer's Guide offers the following Captain's license courses:

Inland OUPV six pack license

Near Coastal OUPV six pack license

25/50/100-ton Masters w/ Towing and Masters Upgrade

We are a mariners school dedicated to providing a sound learning experience for all our students. Whether you're taking an Inland OUPV six pack license, Near Coastal OUPV six pack license, or 100-Ton Masters captains license course, or one of our recreational boating courses our learning systems will meet your needs and help you achieve your goals.

Learning is more than reading a book or listening to a lecture. It is being actively involved in the learning process. This can only be done when the instructors apply the discuss-demonstrate-do approach. Students also learn in different ways. To meet everyone’s needs we use auditory, visual, and kinesthetic activities. In other words, students listen, see, and do the activities to provide the best learning experience.
